Rolls Royce and Bentley Service & Maintenance

You own a post-war Rolls Royce or Bentley and you want to enjoy your car with minimum risk of failure to proceed. This is where the Rolls Royce and Bentley Service Schedules used to come into it.

These A and B Schedules meant that drivers could and would journey far and wide with confidence. Rolls Royce and Bentley Service & Maintenance is somewhat different nowadays.

Many if not most post-war Rolls Royce and Bentley motor vehicles are used sparingly and they may not need these A and B Service Schedules to their fullest. So how do you decide what is it that these cars really need to proceed without failure? This is where a safe pair of hands, proven specialist expertise and affordable garage bills are welcome. At Daniel Moore & Co we offer all of this with our small team of sympathetic experts .

Why you’re in safe hands.

Daniel Moore has been privileged to work for and with some of the best Rolls Royce and Bentley specialists & main dealers in the world. Examples of such are P & A Wood in Essex (working on pre-war and early post-war Rolls Royce and Bentley cars)  working with Norman Geeson on differential restoration, working on more modern Rolls Royce and Bentley motor cars with Colbrook specialists based in Stilton Cambridgeshire and even working overseas with Royal connections. All of this means a huge amount of experience has been gained to enable us to carry out the absolute best and most practical service regime for your motor car.

When it comes to post-war Rolls Royce and Bentley service & maintenance, we want you to know exactly what needs doing, limiting unexpected surprises and
unforeseen costs. That is why we follow a strict ‘no stone unturned’ approach:
We assess your Rolls Royce or Bentley and produce a report before any work
starts. This assessment starts with a short road test to get a feel for the brakes,
the handling, suspension, steering etc. We also note down engine
performance, oil pressure and temperature. Next your car goes on the 4-post lift in our workshop for a thorough visual inspection from underneath the car. The results are then relayed to you the owner via telephone/email or preferably in person at our workshop with the car present for your inspection to understand our findings and recommendations.

Why our maintenance regime works.

Our service schedule has been specifically compiled with experience gained over many years working with these cars. It includes many extra items that the
original handbook overlooks and has proven to be a very powerful tool in the
successful running of an early post war motor car.

We can also prepare your classic car for storage for periods of six months or longer. Same goes for recommissioning after storage. We can help you with the preparation of your car for shipment overseas and this includes International
Rallye preparation. We can point you towards companies with specialist
knowledge of the complexities of worldwide shipping and the associated
customs procedures when shipping classic cars overseas.
